Bargain Alert! Testors Model Master Paints At Dollar Tree Stores!

Another bargain alert for my fellow cheapskates...

Just found these today: Enamel Stain Rust #2 (5 of these), Flanker Blue Grey, Russian Armor, Panzer Interior Buff.

Dollar Tree stores seem to be carrying random selections of Testors Model Master paint.  I didn't want to post this at first because I wasn't sure if it was a fluke, but for the past 6 weeks, every Dollar Tree I've visited (about 5 stores in Chicago and the western suburbs) has had at least 3 colors of Testor's model paint.

There seem to be no rhyme or reason for the selection of color choices, though they mostly seem to be jars of military flat colors.

Found at stores last month: Dark Brown Spray, Panzer Olivegrun, Ocean Grey USN, Willow Green, Enamel Stain Oil and Grease, Armor Sand/Grey, Gloss Clear Lacquer
A few other useful finds included Satin dark brown spray paint, gloss clear lacquer and enamel weathering stains.

I don't think we're dealing with defective product runs dumped at dollar stores.  I've not tested them all but I already used the brown spray for patching over the line and reporting marks on a boxcar and I've used the gloss clear lacquer for some decal surface prep.  Both with good results.

Get your cheap paint while you can!
